About Philela

I chose teaching because I wanted to make a difference in the world. My aim was and will always be to motivate learners, and those that have no hope. I believe that learners are not empty vessels and that they have enough pre knowledge to teach themselves.

Lessons about geography is not only looking at our surroundings ubut it is to ensure that we know about the world. When teaching this subject I allow my students to take a centre stage and I may also learn from them.
