About Mehar

At 6, in the deserts of Ladakh where my army dad was posted, I found some village friends, in the same situation as me with limited schools. With them I spent time co-learning. I began to teach the alphabet that young and surprised everyone with my dedication to creating lessons. Throughout my life I found the practice of teaching seeking me. It lit me up, and empowered those around me. Whether it was economics that I loved or chemistry that I couldn't, I found deep purpose in guiding; it helped me as well when I was lost. Fascinated with literature that I had access to, I learned to form my original thoughts as a child and explored them further through writing. Language barriers did not stop me from finding authentic ways to introspect and express, since writing was the most intimate meeting I had with myself. Hence, I am here. With shining light on your gift to use words and find depth in your contemplation. You don't have to be perfect with English for this course. I know I am not, but we develop that grip on language as we practice thinking deeper.
