About Dr Gary
My goal is to provide students with the tools for them to be successful and to have a passion for geography. I believe that every student is capable of passing the AP Human Geography exam and I am here to help make that a reality. My undergraduate degree is in geography, and I have been teaching AP Human Geography since 2001. I have also worked for the College Board as an examiner for the AP Human Geography exam for the last 10 years. I know exactly what students need to do in order to ace questions on the exam.
I have been a classroom teacher for over 25 years and have always enjoyed making a difference in the lives of young adults. I have always connected well with students and make lifelong friendships through a combination of compassion, empathy, and commitment.
