About Millie
I am a second-year Geography student at the University of Bristol and have a passion for physical and environmental geography. Alongside my studies I represent my University in the tennis team. I really enjoy watching and playing sports as well as reading and spending time with my family.
Having recently left school I understand the pressures of exams and all the stresses that come with them. I want to be a tutor as I want to use my own experience to help support other students through their GCSEs. I aim to make sessions enjoyable while also making students feel supported and comfortable to ask questions.

I am a second year Geography student at the University of Bristol and have a real passion for physical and environmental Geography. I achieved an A* in A-level Geography and a 9 in GCSE Geography.
As I have only recently completed my GCSEs and A-Levels, I understand the demands of the exams and what it is like to be a student preparing for them. Lessons can be tailored to each student's needs, whether that be providing help with understanding specific topics or improving exam technique. I offer 60 minute lessons but I am happy to adjust the length depending on the student's requirements.
As someone with dyslexia I have developed techniques which have helped me understand and remember information in ways that work for me and I understand the importance of repetition to reinforce topics. I understand that everyone learns differently and I will try and adapt my approach to suit each student. I aim to create a relaxed, supported environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
