About Julia
As an English teacher I am determined to create an environment which helps students enjoy the pleasures of reading and writing. English was never one of my favorite subjects growing up until I met one English teacher who changed my outlook on reading and writing and I hope to do the same with other students. My goal is to create a life long learner within these short sessions and give you the power and tools to succeed in every subject. I have taught all ages (preschoolers to seniors in high school) and have become versatile in my teachings. I do not stray away from technology, but rather embrace it and help students navigate resources that they have in the palm of their hands.
I love learning new things from my students. I often say I learn more from them than they learn from me. I am currently a special education teacher and focus on emotional support within the classrooms. I feel that during the time of uncertainty, it's nice to know I can be there to help a student grow.
