About Jonathan
Welcome everyone! I am a graduate in the area of Chinese Studies, and I am also a trained and experienced EFL teacher (CELTA certificate). I bring a creative and innovative approach to language learning, including plenty of multimedia. The lessons are always focused around one particular theme per lesson, but I provide plenty of opportunities to branch out into further discussion, in order to help keep the students engaged! I am fairly versatile: I have previously taught online, in pairs or in a classroom context; working from web presentations, textbooks OR open-ended material I've provide myself. Ultimately, I like to bring some real energy, creativity and openendness to the learning, while still maintaining a clear focus on the lesson theme, and making sure we have a good balance of challenging work and fun conversation practice, music or videos!
