About York Lum
I am currently an undergraduate student in Communication University of China and I used to study in a full English environment. Therefore, I understand the struggle to communicate in a second language especially when one lacks the exposure to the language in daily life. Hopefully by providing teaching services, I would be able to provide a proper Chinese environment to students who are interested in improving their Chinese and teach them tips to master the language.

I am a native English and Chinese speaker and hence could effectively teach the language with context. My teaching method would be largely personalised to suit each student's pace and learning styles. I would also design the content depending on the student's weaknesses and learning needs i.e. for daily use or examination. With experience in writing academic essays in Chinese, my strength would be Chinese writing and reading.
