About Anna Milena
I’m Anna, an art historian, museum educator and university lecturer with extensive experience in both higher education and the museum world. Throughout my career, I have taught at universities, designed educational programs, organized exhibitions and worked in several museums.
My academic background and museum experience allow me to bridge rigorous scholarship with engaging storytelling. I believe that art history should be accessible, inspiring and relevant to modern life—not confined to textbooks or lecture halls.
My goal is to help students not only acquire knowledge but also develop cultural confidence: to enjoy museums with greater understanding, travel more meaningfully, recognize artistic references in literature, film and everyday life, and feel comfortable taking part in conversations about art, history and culture.
Whether you’re studying for university, preparing for exams or learning purely out of curiosity, I hope to share the same enthusiasm for art that has shaped my own career.

Art history is far more than memorizing dates or recognizing famous paintings. It is a way of understanding cultures, ideas and people. My lessons will help you to be more confident discussing art, history and civilization in everyday life.
Every lesson is fully personalized and designed around your interests, goals and level of knowledge. Whether you are preparing for university, traveling, visiting museums, building your cultural confidence or simply exploring a lifelong passion, I create a program that is unique to you.
As an art historian, museum educator and university lecturer, I combine academic expertise with an engaging and accessible teaching style. Rather than overwhelming students with facts, I help them understand the connections between art, history, philosophy, mythology and society. Once you see these connections, remembering them becomes natural.
My lessons are ideal for students of all ages. Many of my students are not looking for a qualification, they simply want to broaden their horizons, enjoy museums more deeply, travel with greater understanding, and feel comfortable taking part in conversations about art, history, and culture. Developing cultural confidence is just as important as acquiring knowledge.
Lessons are taught online in English or Spanish using carefully selected visual materials, discussion and a personalized curriculum that grows with every student. My goal is not simply to teach art history, but to help you see the world differently.
