About Tarannum

Hello! I’m Tarannum, a Political Science postgraduate from the University of Delhi, with a background in Human Development and Family Empowerment, and currently pursuing my B.Ed. from MDU University. With both academic expertise and practical teaching experience, I create lessons that are interactive, easy to follow, and tailored to every learner’s needs. I’ve taught at Bright Future Academy and worked with children through NSS and Sahyog Rehabilitation Centre, which has helped me understand different learning styles and the importance of inclusive education. My strong interpersonal skills and flexible teaching methods ensure that students not only achieve good results but also build confidence and curiosity in the process. With me, you’ll find a professional, approachable, and dedicated tutor who is committed to making learning meaningful and enjoyable.

About the lesson

My Teaching Approach
I believe that learning becomes most effective when it is student‑centered, engaging, and tailored to individual needs. My teaching style combines clarity, creativity, and interactive methods so that students not only perform well academically but also develop curiosity and confidence.

Teaching Techniques & Methods

I use a blend of storytelling, discussions, real-life examples, and interactive exercises to make subjects relatable.

Visual aids, worksheets, and quizzes help reinforce concepts.

For older students, I include current affairs, debates, and analytical exercises to connect classroom knowledge with real-world understanding.

Structure of a Class

Warm-up: Quick recap or a fun activity to set the tone.

Concept Explanation: Step-by-step teaching with examples.

Practice & Application: Exercises, short-answer questions, or discussions.

Wrap-up & Feedback: Summary, doubt‑clearing, and tips for improvement.

My Special Strengths as a Teacher

Academic background in Political Science (M.A.) and Human Development and Family Empowerment gives me insight into both subject knowledge and child psychology.

Currently pursuing a B.Ed. from MDU University, I apply modern pedagogical methods in my teaching.

I focus on making every child feel included and supported, ensuring that different learning needs are met.

Classes 1 to 5: All subjects.

Classes 6 to 10: All subjects except Mathematics (I also teach Science from 6th to 8th).

Class 11 to Graduation: Social Sciences, with a special focus on Political Science.
