About Nathan
I am passionate about helping young people learn and to share my passion for humanities subjects especially history with them. I have a degree in history from Queen Mary university and have worked as teaching assistant in both primary and secondary schools. I have tutored geography in school with several groups of students and helped them to achieve higher grades and a firmer grasp of the subject. I have also worked for three years with a charity that ran after school homework clubs where students could receive tutoring on a 1 to 1 basis. I can also advise on the UCAS application process and personal statement writing as well. Im friendly and approachable and I am willing to travel to tutor and can be available on weekends too. I also enjoy cycling and football.

Nathan has a real passion for history that is infectious. He's very widely read on all eras and has an immense repository of knowledge which he is able to share in a way that brings the subject alive. He is a very caring person and has a real commitment to supporting students in their study and quickly builds a great rapport with them, so that their interest in the subject is enhanced which is reflected in their grades. As a person Nathan is very trustworthy, inclusive, honest, has a strong work ethic and is reliable. I would thoroughly recommend him for this post.
