About Celina
I'm a native Mandarin speaker from China, holding the official Level 2-A Mandarin Proficiency Certificate. From September to December 2024, I worked as a teacher at a training institution in Shanghai, where I taught students from various backgrounds.
What I love most about teaching is watching my students go from "I can't say anything" to holding simple conversations. I believe everyone can learn Mandarin with the right method and enough patience.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy reading, watching Chinese dramas, and learning about different cultures. I can communicate in daily English, and I'm excited to help you start your Mandarin journey!

My Mandarin lessons are carefully structured for complete beginners. We will start with the basics: Pinyin (phonetics), tones, and pronunciation rules, then gradually move on to vocabulary, grammar, and practical conversations.
I believe in building a strong foundation first. Each lesson follows a clear plan with plenty of practice exercises, so you'll never feel lost. Whether you want to learn for travel, work, or personal interest, I can tailor the content to your goals.
I use English for explanations and can also use some basic Japanese if needed. Most importantly, my classes are relaxed and judgment-free — making mistakes is part of learning!
