Hi, I'm Selina! I grew up speaking Mandarin as my first language and I'm now a university student in Australia, where I use both English and Chinese every day. I'm interested in education and love helping people discover Chinese language and culture. I'm patient, friendly and happy to explain things in English whenever needed, so you never feel lost. I believe learning a language should be enjoyable, and I look forward to helping you reach your goals.

About the lesson

My lessons are relaxed, friendly and tailored to your level and goals. Whether you are a complete beginner or want to sound more natural, we will focus on what matters most to you: everyday speaking, clear pronunciation and tones, or reading and writing Chinese characters. Each lesson combines conversation practice with simple explanations, so you can use what you learn straight away. As a native Mandarin speaker studying at university in Australia, I understand the challenges English speakers face when learning Chinese and will help you build confidence step by step.
