About Zi

Hi, I’m Shiva! Originally from China, I currently live in Ireland. I hold a master’s degree from Beijing and have worked for two years in content planning in Guangzhou, so I have a deep understanding of both northern and southern Chinese cultures.

In my free time, I enjoy staying active through cycling, swimming, boxing, and yoga. I also have a strong passion for art, photography, reading, and writing. On top of that, I’m constantly working to improve my English skills.

I know that learning a new language takes courage and can be quite challenging. My goal is to help you not only learn the language but also experience the rich culture and beauty behind it, making the process both enjoyable and rewarding. I believe that positive feedback, encouragement, and long-term support are essential to success, and I’m here to provide all of that for you. I hope to be the person who makes your learning journey both fun and fulfilling, offering you the best guidance and companionship along the way.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is centered around personalization, tailoring lessons according to each student’s needs and current level. For example, if a student is primarily interested in Chinese culture, I emphasize vocabulary, sentence structures, and materials related to that. On the other hand, if the focus is on travel or daily life in China, I adjust my lessons accordingly to cover those aspects in more depth.

Each class lasts for 60 minutes, and in my past teaching experiences, my students have made significant progress. Many of them have gained a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and language, enabling them to thrive during their time in China.

I work with both children and adults, and I strive to ensure that my students not only improve their language skills but also enjoy the learning process.
