About Frida
I am a globally minded educator with a deep passion for international relations, politics, and communication. Born and raised in Finland, now living in Denmark, and of Egyptian and Kurdish heritage, I bring a truly international perspective to my teaching. Having attended global conferences and written published articles, I enjoy sharing real-world insights and encouraging critical discussions about diplomacy, history, and global affairs. I work with a research group focusing on democracy, migration, and society, which keeps me engaged in current political and social issues. I have traveled extensively, gaining firsthand experience of different cultures and international systems. Outside of academics, I am an animal lover and own a horse, dogs, and a cat. My teaching style is interactive and discussion-based, helping students develop a deeper understanding of global affairs in an engaging and accessible way.
