About Ines

Hiya! I'm Ines, and I'm really glad that you're considering taking your studies to the best they can possibly be. I've been in those same situations feeling like I'm not moving forward, but in the end I managed to complete my Computer Science GCSE with a Grade A*/8 !! (Really should've been a 9/A**...) While I might not be a seasoned tutor, I've had first-hand experience of the OCR exams, and what parts of the specification come up the most. My aim? Making the whole computer science thing less of a daunting experience and more of an interactive journey. Currently in Year 12, I'm studying Computer Science, Maths, and Physics and completing them as A-Levels. However, I hope you reach your goals and necessities wherever you choose to be tutored!

About the lesson

Explore the captivating realm of computer science through my tailored tutoring sessions! Whether you're a YEAR 10 STUDENT AND BELOW aspiring to choose Computer Science as a GCSE subject or an enthusiastic beginner eager to explore computing and Python, my approach ensures an engaging and accessible learning adventure. My lessons come alive with interactive activities, and I adjust my teaching technique to match your pace and weak points. I prioritise nurturing a deep understanding of the concepts on the OCR specification, and fostering creative problem-solving skills, which is something that comes up a lot on the first exam of GCSEs. Each session typically spans around 60 minutes, striking the right balance between comprehensive coverage and attention span. However, I'm flexible and open to adjusting session lengths if need be! Having achieved a Grade 8/A* in my GCSE exam, and continuing my Computer Science journey at A Level, I offer specialised, and up-to-date guidance for students who will follow the OCR J277 exam board once they reach GCSE level. Additionally, I provide enjoyable introductory sessions for young learners using Scratch Jr and Python from KS2!

I know ines from my secondary school onto sixth form. We were in the same Computer science class for two years of GCSEs. She is a trustworthy tutor as she will put full commitment into helping you thrive to success. She has Well explained teaching methods and easy to ask. If there is a certain topic that you struggle with she will focus on that to make you more comfortable with it.
