About Lee Anne
I have formally studied both American and European history with a particular focus on the stories typically excluded from the narrative. History can teach us about the worst parts of our world, but it can be fun too! I’m here to help you learn about it all, and maybe inspire a bit of a revolution in the process.

As a public historian I approach history from a different perspective from most educators in the field! Public history studies not only what happened but how we remember it. Using this approach allows students to connect with the stories and real people from history, improving their learning. Working in the museum field has given me experience with a wide variety of history topics from the railroad to Cold War spies!
