About Sarah
Hi there! My name is Sarah, and I am a private Mandarin tutor. I am excited to have the opportunity to study Mandarin with you. Growing up in China, I developed a deep love for the Chinese language and culture. My educational journey has taken me to several Chinese and English speaking countries, giving me a broad and deep understanding of language learning. I worked as a Mandarin-English interpreter and can appreciate the importance of a proper Mandarin accent. Having grown up in the northern part of China, I have an excellent Mandarin accent. With many years of language teaching experience, I have discovered that every student has a unique learning style and goals. I will tailor the learning plan to your needs and interests, whether you are a beginner, a student preparing for exams, or a professional looking to enhance your career prospects. I will guide you every step of the way towards fluency. In our courses, we will comprehensively cover listening, speaking, reading, and writing, while also delving into the rich Chinese culture. Perfect! Sarah is an excellent tutor who worked hard to find my baseline as a student with previous experience in studying Mandarin. Her availability is very helpful for my schedule and working together to tailor lessons meant specifically for me has been great. She is very receptive towards the needs and desires of her students and works very hard to try and meet those needs.
