About Charissa
Hello!
My name is Charissa Yu, and I’m thrilled about the opportunity to teach coding and share my passion for programming and science. I hold a Master's degree in Machine Learning, where I explored the fascinating world of algorithms and artificial intelligence. Over the past few years, I’ve worked as a Data Scientist & Data analysts in the renewable energy sector, helping optimize energy storage systems like batteries and renewable grids to make our world a greener place.
Besides, I’ve few projects in agriculture produce grading with computer vision technology, and benchmarking documents with large language modelling (LLM).
In addition to my professional background, I have always had a strong love for teaching, especially when it comes to children. I believe that coding is not just about writing programs—it’s about unlocking creativity, building problem-solving skills, and having fun while exploring how technology shapes our world.
