About Caleb
Hello, students! I am so excited for the opportunity to be a part of enhancing your confidence in the humanities and social sciences.
My name is Caleb (Mr. Dahlgren) and, by day, I serve the federal government. Although I can't talk much about my work (despite how exciting it is), what I can talk about is just how well my tailored education has earned me to this point---and I want you to have all the resources I can refine with you so that you are set up to achieve your maximum potential!
In college, I studied Geography, Russian, and Aerospace Studies, earning my undergraduate degree from the Univ of Missouri. My graduate degree was more specialized, earning a Master of Science from Saint Louis Univ, specializing in Strategic Intelligence. My goal for the time in session we have together is to understand where your improvement areas are, how my expertise can help fill those critical gaps, and ultimately, to lead you to a point in critical thinking where you are the expert coming to conclusions all on your own and you are able to thrive independently by implementing the tools we've worked towards together :)

With a combined undergraduate and graduate faculty of disciplines in Geography, Russian, Aerospace Studies, and Strategic Intelligence, I am versed in a range of fields that I look forward to tailoring to your personalized needs in the humanities and social sciences!
I can remember back to junior high school (and even preparing for exams in college) how difficult it was to sort out all the information based on memorization alone, so what I found most helpful was making the effort to appreciate something unique about that specific lesson (applying my own interests to that subject).
It may have been a "boring" era of history that I didn't have much interest in, perhaps a difficult region with names and features I was unfamiliar with and couldn't pronounce, or maybe the subject is not native to my own language, therefore, a nuanced perspective and a bit of creativity go a long way!
This nuance and creativity is what I bring to each lesson to ensure we end the tutoring session with your strengthened sense of confidence and cognitive grasp on the subject :)
