About Brandon
I am a fully certified teacher in history and the social sciences. I teach Virginia and US History, US Government, as well as Economics and Personal Finance at the high school level. I understand the value of a child's education as well as the difficulties many students face outside the classroom and how this impacts their learning. I account for these difficulties in my teaching. My goal is to provide students the skills and tools necessary to succeed in school as well as the 21st century work environment. I integrate the field of history and social science with critical thinking, reading, and writing skills in order for the student to find success in the 21st century workplace.
I hold a Master's degree in education and teaching. I am fully certified to teach history and the social sciences in secondary public schools. I have had real teaching experience in a classroom setting.
