About Bernadette
Twenty seven years of experience to include regular education and special education of elementary, middle school and high school. Summer school and the regular school year is included within these 27 years. Private tutoring and home schooling after the school day are inclusive. World travel, military support and involvement, family and athletics are real life experiences that enhance my style and personalization.
I started teaching when when son was born. My love of children prompted me. Back to school I went to get my education degree and so soon after my Masters in special education.
My 27 years of teaching all grade levels to include college students and adults to include 20 years of tutoring bring me to this day. My students have been compromised of regular and special needs students. My degrees are in regular and elementary education. Twenty years of private tutoring and and home teaching create a greater range and foundation for me.

My typical process with a student starts with getting to know the student and their learning style. Starting with their strengths, I build a foundation of learning through their best assists.
My students have ranged from 5 years of age to 35 years. These students have been regular education to special needs. Special needs students disabilities range from learning disabilities to autism.
