About Rebecca

I am an experienced Senior Social Worker and Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP), with six years of experience working in the social work profession. I continue to work in frontline practice, giving me up-to-date, practical knowledge of the challenges, responsibilities and realities of social work.

I am passionate about supporting social work students and newly qualified practitioners to develop their knowledge, confidence and professional skills.

My experience includes safeguarding, mental health, legislation, assessments, risk management and complex decision making. I understand the importance of bridging the gap between academic learning and real-life practice.

My teaching approach is friendly, patient and supportive. I recognise that everyone learns differently and tailor my sessions to individual needs.

I can support you with university assignments, critical analysis, reflective writing, applying theory to practice, understanding legislation and preparing for interviews.

My aim is not just to help you succeed academically, but to develop the confidence, knowledge and practical understanding needed to become an effective social worker.

As someone who continues to work on the front line, I bring real-world experience into every lesson.
