About Hana
I have worked in some aspect of education for over 10 years, starting as a teacher assistant, then a tutor for the AVID Program, a substitute teacher, and finally a certified teacher on the middle and high school level. I belong every child has the right to an education and that every child is able to learn, if given the correct tools and resources.

Instead of learning about “dead people,” and memorizing facts, I instead teach you critical thinking skills that would allow you to gain that same information without having you memorize them. For math, I take the key concepts and simplify them to its bare basics as a foundation, which is what I build everything else on. For English, I primarily use examples or take topics from the student’s personal interest.
