About Aaron
With over 7 years of tutoring experience I am confident I can help you achieve your educational goals. Whether you are applying for university, want help with your A-Levels or GCSEs or are looking to apply to a selective secondary school, I am able to help. I am a Cambridge University Politics & Sociology graduate and have worked with students ranging from those passionate about their subject to those currently struggling with the curriculum.

I work with the student to help them identify areas they find difficult - this allows me to really get to know the student and understand the way they learn. I am able to recognise that different children have their own strengths and weaknesses, different confidences and insecurities, and I always aim to get to know the student first in order to tailor my methods accordingly. Through my lessons, I always aim to build on each student's confidence in their own abilities and hope to find ways and methods for them to view the subject matter enthusiastically. Next, I work with my student to plan what they want to achieve from each session and build strategy to allow them to achieve their potential, in addition to setting them realistic and achievable targets. Finally, I regularly check in with students about how they feel they are doing in relation to our targets. My students feel a sense of agency over their own learning, which I believe is key to achieving our goals.
