Hi, I'm Zak, I'm 27 years old and live in Merseyside, UK. I am new to tutoring but fairly knowledgeable when it comes to mathematics. I attained A* grades in both my GCSEs and A-levels.

About Zak
I am a chemical engineer by profession and previously worked as an energy consultant in which I advised businesses on how to minimise their energy loads by carrying out energy audits on their industrial facilities and proposing energy efficiency measures that they could implement. I am also a traveller and have spent the last 2 years travelling India, SE Asia and Australia. During my travels I encountered many different cultures and many different individuals with a wide variety of backgrounds. This experience has made me a more open-minded and caring individual and I'm happy to cater my teaching styles to different needs. Overall I'm patient, easy-going and eager to help you achieve your academic goals.
I understand academics can sometimes be stressful and difficult especially when it comes to exam season but I'm here to help support you through your academic journey in a positive and upbeat manner.

I am happy to conduct one hour lessons where I can explain concepts in mathematics that the student may be struggling with and to also help complete any practice questions from class. I have previous experience in teaching from volunteering in a school in Cambodia in which I was tasked with teaching English to disadvantaged children. I will be starting a PGCE secondary course (Teacher-Training Course) in September to become a qualified teacher in a secondary school. I am passionate about teaching and would like to use my knowledge, enthusiasm and academic experience to inspire and help students reach their full academic potential.
