About Eugene
Welcome Students !
I am Eugene Manu. I am an aspiring physician as well as a published research scholar. I was born in Brooklyn, New York but grew up in Ghana, West Africa for the most part of my life. I currently live in the Bronx with my parents. I have been teaching English for five years now along with other courses such as Biology, Anatomy and Physiology 1 and 2, Algebra, Social Studies and Science in general. When I am not teaching, I serve as a community health ambassador and a teaching fellow at Montefiore Hospital. I have been teaching for 5 years now.In my freetime, I love to read, cook and go out to meet with friends. One of my greatest strengths is teaching which is in conjunction with mentorship. I firmly believe that mentorship helps facilitate the teaching and learning process very well in which helps students to do well. I take the initiative to mentor my students and mentor their progress gradually and steadily. Learning English takes time and it is a process that involves a lot of reading and writing as well as practice which I instill in my teaching. Also, I believe that the constant repetition of words used in sentences helps my students to retain and develop good grammar and comprehension skills. As your tutor, I will be with you every step of the way and will encourage, motivate and challenge you to excel in your journey to learn English. I am truly excited be on this journey with you to learn English!
