About James
I was originally a certified professional in the Information Technology industry with my historical studies taking a back seat believing it was merely a hobby. Coming from a traditional military serving background and growing up around serving and non-serving veterans, attending events at the local barracks my fascination with history began practically when I was a few months old.
My own life has now been pointed in the direction of both serious historical and political study as well as service myself, aspiring to become a naval officer. I believe my advanced knowledge deserves to be spread to others with similar interests or perhaps even individuals who have yet to be enlightened. History is a necessary subject for all humans since if we do not understand history we are doomed to repeat the mistakes.
A fun fact is while I was supposedly destined to become an IT professional during high school, my highest GSCE achievement was in history where my teacher believed the best I could achieve was a low level.

I was one of those students never really exposed to "good teaching" or engaging individuals. I was however, lucky enough to have one teacher who changed my whole mindset by understanding my aspirations and inspiring me to succeed. I believe that understanding an individual's personality is key to recognising their strengths and weaknesses.
The information given must also spark the person's interest and that can easily be achieved.
