About Stefan
I might be a software developer, but I am very passionate about languages and I have always had a deep love for the French language and all its quirks.
I enjoy teaching others French and worked as a tutor at the University of Pretoria as well as a tutor for Kindergarteners. I have finished my B2 (equivalent) level at the University of Pretoria and I practice French daily to keep my mind sharp.

A typical lesson would flow as follows:
1. We start with an introductory/catch-up session to break the ice, review previous work and set the goals for the current session.
2. Then we'll cover the content of the current session & I will answer any questions about the material.
3. Finish off with a quick recap/flash-test and set homework or practice material for the next session (if applicable).
Lesson content:
Lessons would be focused on grammar theory and pronunciation or anything else that the student might be struggling with. They will also include lots of practice exercises including reading, writing, and listening activities.
Languages:
Lessons can be taught in either Afrikaans or English and they can cater for students from complete beginner level up to and including DELF B1 equivalent.

Besides knowing him as a cracking software developer, I have seen him tutor French with a patience and dedication that is astounding. If he can manage to educate and entertain two rambunctious 5-year-olds for an hour then I am sure he can work with anyone. I have also seen him work weekends to accommodate his students. Details
The R50 travelling cost applies to single lessons i.e. booking two successive lessons would amount to travel cost of R50 and not R100.
When booking a package, travelling costs will be applied per lesson (as required) and billed halfway through and at the end of the package.
If we cannot find a suitable public space and you are not able to host lessons at your home, then your lessons can either be done online via Google Meets or you may book a room or study hall at your place of study (if applicable). However, it is important to note that should the lessons incur any extra cost to the student, I will not be liable for these charges and will still require the lesson payments in full.
