About Shana
Hi there! I'm Shana, a Drummer and Tutor based in East Sussex with 12 years of musical experience and 5 years of teaching experience, specialising in Drum and Percussion tuition. I have been drumming for 11 years with additional experience of Vocals, Guitar, Piano, Music Production, Songwriting, and Musical Theatre. Genres I play and teach range from Rock, Pop, Blues, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Trip-Hop and much more

I teach all levels and ages and I pride myself on catering each lesson to the individual student and their needs. I feel it is important to encourage students to have a passion for their instrument and find what drives them and to incorporate that into each lesson whether it be a certain genre of music or a particular piece for their school talent show. I also like to blend music theory with practice and teach theory throughout each lesson for a better understanding of music.
