About Turner
Hey I'm Turner, I recently graduated with a 1st in maths from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and I'm now looking to tutor GCSE and A-level maths students for a third year. During my first year of tutoring I had 15 regular clients studying GCSE and A-level maths and physics, however my second year was cut short due to the pandemic. During this time I have built a website (concealed information) that students can use to revise for maths and physics. During my third year I had 91% of students come back for a second lesson, and 100% of my students (that are continuing their course) carrying on over the summer holidays
As I have only just finished my education I have first hand experience of the courses and modules that students are taking, this has given me a thorough understanding of the material.
Throughout my education I achieved the highest grade at GCSE, GCE Advanced, A-Level and degree level maths, as well as an A in A-level further maths and A* in A-Level physics. During the GCE Advanced course I self-taught and then tutored a small group of students in my class during year 11, I achieved an A (this resulted in me becoming the highest decorated maths student in my school's history) while the other students all passed with higher grades than they had been predicted.

I look to understand what areas of their course students are struggling with and also most enjoying, this allows my sessions to be both enjoyable and educational. I provide written notes alongside links to my website (concealed information) so that the students can focus on grasping the content rather than taking notes.
