About Britni
Students interested in pop and contemporary styles often struggle with the mechanics of hand independence. My personal journey with the piano since childhood informs how I guide individuals towards independence.

First sessions involve a comprehensive review of your current abilities to ensure progress happens immediately. Weekly practice modules are assigned with every class to keep your momentum high. We build ear training and accompaniment skills through repetitive cycles that reinforce your memory. It is helpful to treat scales and arpeggios as the backbone of your daily routine.
Since I am an exam focused teacher, we keep the pace consistent while ensuring you understand the underlying theory. Many students worry about the technicality of jazz improvisation, but we break those patterns into small, digestible chunks.
Pedalling technique is addressed early to prevent bad habits from taking root in your playing. You will find that these structured habits lead to genuine musical growth. I am confident in your ability to succeed.
