About Oscar

I have experience mentoring students in biological sciences since my undergraduate studies. I was a biology teacher at a high school in Mexico and I have experience advising students to participate in the Mexican Biology Olympics; my students have achieved first places in this competition. I was also a Mexican Biology Olympian, winning a silver medal when I was in high school. After this period, I have been involved in different activities related to the biological sciences field, such as research, science communication, science workshops, and mentoring students. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD degree in molecular and cellular biology at University of Guelph, Canada.

About the lesson

I like to give personalized lessons based on the student necessities. We have an initial session to meet each other and talk about the study program. Then, I prepare working material for the lessons and we make a schedule based on the availability of both. I usually give some activities to practice after each lesson. - Degree's lessons: high school and undergrads
