About Tamila
Teaching piano remains the most direct way I share the music theory and ear training I gathered over 10 years. Sitting at the keys feels like second nature after 9 years of gigging across the Bay Area. My BFA in Music Industry taught me that classical repertoire and chord voicing are just tools for better storytelling.
Dynamics and rhythm matter more than flash. I focus on pedaling technique and memorization to make you a sharper player. Reach out if you want to chat about your goals.

Focusing purely on technical perfection often kills the mood of a great performance. Music is meant to be felt through expression and sight transposition.
I provide a short recorded playback of each session so students can review at home. Watching yourself play reveals habits you might otherwise miss. We dig into timing and structure until the song flows naturally. It is rewarding to see students find their own voice through these tools.
I treat every session like a real world rehearsal. Maybe we can record your first track soon.
