About Jan
I have taught pop voice for the last 40 years
I have written manuals on voice techniques in English, French, Mandarin, Italian, and Spanish. Plus I have made videos to go along with the manuals.
I taught theatre for nine years
Sang with my own band for 18 years
I have a 5th-year degree in Early Childhood Education
Presently working as a vocal coach online

Developed my own technique called the rebirth technique based on babies breathing. I use Chi to strengthen the muscles used in breathing both for voice and speech. My method prevents damage and allows singers to sing for long periods of time with no effort. My class is for beginners and professionals. For singers and non-singers. For all genres. For career-oriented people or hobbyists. I also work with actors and dancers ex Alex Wong ( The Greatest Showman). Work with a lot of kids. Singing gives them confidence within themselves. I sat on the board of children's festivals from around the world. Sang with own band for 18 years. Taught English and musical theatre in High School for 9 years.
