About Talin

Most of the time when you’re being taught, your understanding and mental health is not at the top of your teacher's priority list. I will be available at all times, even when we don’t have lessons for any questions that you have or even if it’s just advice that you seek and my main priority will always be you and your mental health. I believe my teaching methods differ greatly from traditional methods as I will prepare you for all the emotion and stress management, critical thinking and exam techniques that are so vital when you enter those dreaded test or exam seasons. My lessons are centered entirely around your enjoyment and understanding. I believe patience is one of the greater traits to have as a teacher as we all learn at different rates. Allow me to be not only a teacher but a mentor and a friend that will be with you throughout your schooling journey.

About the lesson

I have been studying mathematics and statistics for a very long time and have tutored these subjects enough to have figured out the most efficient way to understand complex topics and how to be the most effective without having to do unnecessary amounts of work. My lessons are made to ensure students not only fully understand topics but also to ensure that students are fully prepared for anything the examiner might throw at you in your papers. I also teach exam techniques and how to cope under pressure which is something many high school students struggle with. It is vital to know how a matric marker thinks and to know how to maximize all the marks you can. I also believe in creating an enjoyable environment that students can flourish in to ensure that those subjects that you’ve always dreaded can become your biggest strength.
