About Samantha

Hi there! My name is Samantha, and I'm a dedicated and passionate English tutor with over 4 years of experience helping students improve their reading, writing, and language skills. I've always had a love for literature and language, and I pursued this passion by earning my BA in English composition and rhetoric and currently working on my MA from University of Texas San Antonio. After graduation, I have worked on and off as a tutor, and I've been fortunate enough to work with students from a wide range of backgrounds and skill levels. I have experience teaching students of all ages, from elementary school students to adults, and I've worked with students who are English language learners as well. My teaching approach is personalized and collaborative, and I believe that every student has unique strengths and challenges that require a customized approach. I work with my students to identify their goals and challenges and develop a plan of action that is tailored to their specific needs. Whether it's improving reading comprehension, developing strong writing skills, or building confidence in speaking English, I am committed to helping my students achieve their goals and succeed academically. In addition to my tutoring experience, I am also an avid reader and writer myself. I enjoy exploring a wide range of genres and styles and am always looking for ways to improve my own writing skills. I bring this passion for language and literature to my tutoring sessions and strive to make the learning process engaging, fun, and rewarding for my students.
