About Mackenzie
I had a tutor growing up so I know what type of techniques work and what types don’t. Each student is different so I prefer one on one tutoring or small group tutoring so that everyone’s needs can be met. I and currently getting my bachelors of education which gives me access to amazing resources. I am a graduate at Fanshawe for CYC. I can understand the stress and tool of not understanding material you’re learning and as aCYC I’m trained to help children talk through and about their feelings.

Hands on lessons that allow students to create and explore while learning. An example when teaching comparative writing I draw aVenn diagram and give students two things to compare. Then I will give them a comparison writing piece to explore before choosing a topic and comparing their own. My teaching is for grade level students (k-6).
