I'm Hassan Arif, your dedicated online Chemistry tutor on the superprof platform. With over 9 years of teaching experience, I specialise in making chemistry not only understandable but genuinely enjoyable for high school students and university aspirants alike.
Interestingly, chemistry wasn’t my first love — it was biology! But life had its own plans. I pursued Chemical Engineering for my undergraduate degree and later completed a postgraduate programme in Energy Science. Today, I’m fortunate to bridge both worlds — engineering and education — sharing my passion and knowledge with aspiring learners like you.
Over the years, I’ve honed my teaching methods and developed unique learning hacks to simplify complex chemistry concepts. Contrary to the belief that chemistry is full of exceptions, I firmly believe it’s a subject of logic and patterns — and I’m here to help you crack that code.

My lessons are designed to make Chemistry clear, engaging, and easy to understand. I focus on building strong conceptual foundations before moving on to problem-solving and exam-style questions. I use a student-centred approach, adapting my teaching methods to suit each learner's strengths, weaknesses, and academic goals.
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes and includes concept explanation, worked examples, guided practice, and feedback. Additional support with assignments, revision strategies, and examination preparation is also provided.
I hold B.Tech in Chemical engineering and an M.Tech in Energy Science and have over 9 years of experience teaching Chemistry to high school students. Throughout my teaching career, I have helped students improve their understanding, confidence, and academic performance.
My lessons are suitable for GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level, AS-Level, and secondary school students, as well as learners who need additional support in Chemistry. Whether you are aiming to improve your grades, strengthen your understanding of key topics, or prepare for examinations, I will provide structured and personalised guidance to help you achieve your goals.
