About Jon
I have been teaching math at private schools in Seattle for over 18 years working in mostly Middle and High School levels. I have my M.Ed. in Math Education from Antioch University. I have also been tutoring for most of that time helping those increase SAT scores, do better in their classes, and helping children/adults understand the fundamentals of mathematics.

From course supports to building Math Skills, I help students set SMART learning goals, help with chose the best support software, and help them develop a curriculum plan to achieve those goals. I teach my showing the procedure so they explicitly understand how to approach math, but they I should them the fun of math with graphical and model approaches to learning.
My true skills sets is listening to your needs and adapting to how you need to learn. From elementary arithmetic skills to Calculus, I can help you achieve want you need from a tutor. The key to good tutoring is building confidence and showing the "hacks" that make math more approachable.
