About the lesson

Hi! I’m Angelo Segarra, a dedicated IELTS preparation tutor with 14 years of experience teaching at universities in China.
I hold a Master’s degree and have successfully guided thousands of satisfied students from China and beyond to achieve their target IELTS band scores. Whether you’re preparing for university admission, postgraduate studies, professional registration, or immigration, I offer focused, results-driven coaching tailored to the specific challenges faced by Chinese learners.
What makes my IELTS classes effective:
• Expert strategies for all four modules (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking), with special emphasis on common difficulties such as Task 2 essay structure, vocabulary depth, Speaking fluency, and time management
• Regular full-length mock tests with detailed band scoring and personalized feedback
• Proven techniques using official Cambridge materials combined with practical methods developed over 14 years
• Individual improvement plans that address your specific weaknesses
• Flexible scheduling and ongoing support between lessons
My students consistently see strong improvements — many moving from Band 5.5/6.0 to Band 7.0+ within a focused preparation period. With my university-level teaching experience and deep understanding of Chinese students’ needs, I help you build both the language skills and exam confidence required to succeed.
If you’re serious about reaching your IELTS goals efficiently, I’d be happy to discuss your current level, target score, and timeline. Feel free to message me and we can create a personalized study plan together.”
