About Julie
I am a dedicated, distinguished, determined educator who is committed to excel in teaching as a caring creator and guider of learning experiences for students with differing educational needs. My fundamental belief is: all students have unique gifts and abilities to offer the world. It is my role to help instill confidence and develop skills to allow them to utilize their talents.
As a certified English teacher (Grades 6-12), I focus on developing proficiency in grammar and vocabulary in order to advance the written and oral communication of my students. I concentrate on promoting reading comprehension by teaching the necessity of both factual and inferential understanding. Additionally, I believe the crux of our future is based on educating today’s youth in discovering and developing critical thinking, problem solving, imagination, honesty, and responsibility.
I have a unique ability to connect with others. This gift has been demonstrated in my past achievements and awards:
