About Erikka
With dual certification in elementary and special education, I’ve been changing lives in the classroom for 7 amazing years. Additionally, I have 2 years of experience teaching cyber classes under my belt. I’m currently 8 credits away from earning my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction.
Whether it's working one-on-one with students who need extra support or leading a virtual class, I’ve had the opportunity to make a positive impact on my students. My lessons are engaging, creative, and tailored to every student's unique needs.

*excited tone* Hey friend! As a special education teacher, I understand the importance of making lessons engaging and fun for students. I've got some awesome ideas that will help all children (even those with learning disabilities or attention deficits) stay focused and enjoy learning!
First, get creative with hands-on activities and games. Kinesthetic learning is huge for kids who struggle to sit still. The more movement, the better!
I like to start lessons with a fun video, then move to a parallel activity involving the “I Do, We Do, You Do” strategy and then finish with a game or movement break. Variety is key!
With creative, multi-sensory, and engaging lesson plans, your child will have an awesome time learning.
