About Huaze

Hello! I'm Huaze Xin, but you can also call me Eric. I’m a passionate Math enthusiast who loves sharing knowledge, and I’m excited to help you enjoy learning Math as much as I do. Whether you prefer English or Chinese, I’m comfortable teaching in both languages, and I like to keep my classes fun, interactive, and tailored to your learning style.

I’ve always found that building a strong understanding of foundational concepts is key to mastering math. I organize my classes based on each student’s needs, whether you're just starting with the basics or preparing for more advanced topics. I'm here to support you, make complex ideas easier to grasp, and guide you to achieve your goals confidently!

About the lesson

As a tutor, my approach is rooted in making math both understandable and enjoyable for students. I focus on ensuring that students truly grasp the core concepts, rather than relying on memorization. By using real-life examples, I help students connect abstract math ideas to everyday situations, making the subject more relatable. My teaching method is highly interactive, encouraging students to ask questions and engage with the material. I guide them step-by-step through challenging problems, breaking complex concepts into simpler parts to ensure they can follow along with confidence. I also place great importance on positive reinforcement, celebrating their small successes to build their confidence and motivation.

A typical lesson begins with a brief warm-up, either reviewing past material or solving a fun puzzle to get the student’s mind active. The core of the lesson involves introducing and exploring new topics, working through examples together, and then allowing the student to attempt problems on their own with guidance. I close each lesson by reviewing what we’ve learned and addressing any lingering questions.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to connect with students at their level, making math feel less intimidating and more approachable. My lessons are designed for primary to secondary students, whether they are just starting out or looking to master more advanced topics. By tailoring each lesson to the student’s pace and learning style, I help them achieve both academic success and a lasting appreciation for math.
