I believe consistency and practice is the key. Learn, do not cram.
My approach is to work on basic concepts step by step, topic by topic.
Do not hurry, I believe one should grasp concepts rather than cramming the formulas. (for example you should know where did - Total Surface Area of cuboid = 2(lb+bh+lh) came from. )
