About Milo
I’m a singing tutor with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music Education with a focus on voice. My journey has taken me through leading choirs, coaching vocal ensembles, and training singers in group harmony. I specialize in Classical, Sacred, A Cappella, and Barbershop styles, with a deep appreciation for the richness each one offers. I work closely with students on sight singing, solfège, part-singing, and developing a strong choral blend. My sessions are rooted in building listening skills, vocal awareness, and group coordination. I believe that singing together teaches not only technique but also connection and joy. From school choirs to college ensembles and community groups, I’ve helped singers of all ages grow their skills and confidence. I also guide students in rehearsal leadership and musical direction, preparing them to take on collaborative roles. Whether you're new to harmony or aiming to sharpen your ensemble technique, I tailor my lessons to your goals. Singing is about expression, unity, and joy. I’m here to help you improve your voice and experience the magic of making music together in a supportive, inspiring setting.

My teaching approach helps singers discover and refine their unique vocal identity while growing creatively. I focus on vocal tone shaping to help each student find their most natural, expressive sound. Song interpretation and storytelling through music are at the heart of every lesson. We go beyond just singing notes — we dive into emotion, phrasing, and intention.
Genre exploration plays a big role in unlocking versatility and confidence. From pop to jazz, classical to R&B, I guide students in finding what resonates with them. Improvisation is introduced gradually, encouraging creativity and vocal freedom. Adult beginners build comfort through structure and positive reinforcement, while advanced teens are challenged to push boundaries and develop artistic maturity.
