About Robert
I am a retired Professor of Chemistry with a BA degree form the University of Oxford, a Ph.D. from the University of York, plus 30 years working as a Professor at Harvard and the University of California in the U.S., and the University of Leicester in the U.K. I remain highly motivated to bring my wealth of experience in both teaching and mentoring young people at any level, with the goal of motivating, teaching and inspiring the next generation of students learning chemistry, maths or general sciences.

I fully appreciate the challenges that learning maths and sciences presents for many, but apply my extensive experience skills to focus on subject matter areas that individual students are struggling with most; and then revising my teaching to meet their needs –particularly those students who struggle the most – whilst keeping my teaching interesting and challenging to the students who seem to be progressing well.
I am flexible about the length of lessons to meet individual needs, but 1 hour is a typical length.
As a former Professor of Chemistry. I am highly motivated to bring my wealth of experience in both teaching and mentoring young people at any level, with the goal of motivating, teaching and inspiring the next generation of students learning chemistry, maths or general sciences.
