Jimmy is a very conscientious guy. He prepares diligently for each lessom and he's always working to meet me where I'm at. I'm greatly appreciative of his ability to adapt. Specifically, he works to incoporate a combination of theory, learning pieces, and teaching drills that suits me personally. He also adapts lessons based on the progress I made on my own so that I don't get "left behind" if I struggle with something nor bored and moving slower than necessary if I've made some strides. He's a very caring and patient teacher, and I've thoroughly enjoyed the 5 months I've spent learning with him thus far.

My husband, Jimmy, has taught our two sons piano and guitar for many years. They are both very musical and pick up their guitars or sit at the piano all on their own accord. I am so grateful to have a music teacher and musical sons in our home!
Also, we recently moved away from where all of Jimmy's in person students were. He still has students who choose to take lessons with him online instead of attend lessons with the various in person teachers that Jimmy referred them to before we moved.
