About Claudio
I'm Claudio Napolitano, a Venezuelan-American photographer with 39 years of experience and a Hasselblad Master (2010, Portrait) — the only Venezuelan to earn that title. I've won 41+ international awards and specialize in conveying emotion through light. I've taught photography at the Instituto de Diseño de Caracas and given talks and workshops at Photokina, Hasselblad Studios London, Photocamp Oslo, and national photography congresses in Mexico and Colombia. I teach in English, Spanish, and Italian.

Most photography lessons teach settings. Mine teach you to see. My method, *Aprendo la Luz*, is built around you in five steps:
1. **Strengths test.** We discover how you learn, so every lesson fits you.
2. **Portfolio review.** We compare the work clients pay you for with the work you create for yourself. The gap between them is your path.
3. **Your space.** We measure where you shoot and design light that works there.
4. **The ladder.** You recreate the lighting of master photographers, one change at a time.
5. **The second shot.** Same light, one decision of your own. That's where your style begins.
