About Leah
I am a violin instructor with 10 years of teaching experience and a Masters Degree in Music. I have trained students of different age groups and backgrounds, helping them build strong technical foundations and musical confidence. I believe violin learning requires consistency, structured practice, and proper guidance.
My teaching style focuses on clear explanations, step-by-step learning, and practical exercises that help students improve gradually. I encourage learners to develop listening skills, rhythm awareness, and expressive control through regular guided practice. I always provide constructive feedback to help students grow steadily.
Apart from technical training, I also help students build stage presence and independent practice habits. My goal is to create a disciplined yet encouraging learning atmosphere where students can develop their musical abilities with confidence.

My violin lessons are designed for students who want to develop disciplined technique and expressive musicality in a structured and patient learning environment. I teach posture, bowing control, finger placement, scales, intonation, rhythm, and song performance step by step so learners can build accuracy and confidence gradually. Lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate students.
Each class includes focused technical exercises, bowing drills, and guided repertoire practice that help students improve tone quality, coordination, and musical expression. I explain every concept in a simple and clear way so learners can follow easily without confusion. Students also explore classical and contemporary violin styles depending on their interests.
I tailor each lesson according to the student’s pace, skill level, and goals to ensure consistent improvement. Some learners may aim for formal training or performances, while others may learn violin for personal enjoyment. My teaching approach emphasises discipline, patience, and steady progress in a supportive environment.
