About Lia
I studied Biomedical Engineering at undergraduate and master's level at university, but I have always held a love for both STEM and humanities subjects having studied a good mix at A-Level. I appreciate that school can sometimes be tricky and I look forward to making your journey easier.

My main teaching aim is to teach my students how to approach tasks and questions with confidence alongside covering content. I find that this approach enables me to equip students to gradually develop the confidence to apply techniques learnt together with accuracy and ease when completing tasks alone, for example in an exam. I love for my students to feel comfortable asking me any questions and there is no shame in not understanding or taking longer to adjust to a concept than expected. Ask me 1000 questions!
